O que é uma scooter elétrica?
Nos últimos anos, as vendas de veículos elétricos aumentaram consideravelmente, desde carros híbridos com dupla combustão interna/motores elétricos até carros elétricos que não emitem CO 2 e possuem apenas uma bateria elétrica.
Esta tendência, favorecida pela necessidade de reduzir a poluição e os eco-incentivos públicos, também diz respeito aos veículos de duas rodas, como scooters e motos elétricas, uma alternativa ecológica e econômica aos clássicos motores a gasolina de duas rodas.
Uma scooter elétrica é geralmente um ciclomotor ou um veículo de duas rodas com potência não superior a 4 kW e capaz de atingir uma velocidade máxima de 50 km/h e bateria com autonomia de 80 km com uma carga.
Obviamente também existem motores elétricos com desempenho e especificações técnicas superiores, porém, neste caso estamos falando de moto elétrica.
Via de regra, as scooters elétricas não são equipadas com marchas, mas com transmissão automática. Então basta dar a partida com o botão e o veículo acelera gradualmente, usando o freio do veículo.
A utilização de scooters elétricas é, portanto, bastante simples e intuitiva, adaptando-se também a pessoas que não são capazes de conduzir uma moto convencional com marcha.
É uma forma ideal de circular pela cidade sem poluir, cobrindo percursos curtos de forma ecológica.
Como funciona a scooter elétrica?
Uma scooter elétrica tem em primeiro lugar um motor elétrico, uma pequena unidade de energia alimentada por uma bateria.
Este não é um motor convencional de combustão interna, mas um sistema que utiliza a polaridade dos ímãs e dois elementos, chamados de estator e rotor, para gerar eletricidade e acionar a transmissão.
Neste, a energia elétrica é convertida em energia mecânica, colocando as rodas em funcionamento para mover o veículo para frente ao acelerar.
Dependendo do modelo do motor elétrico, existe um tipo específico de bateria. Porém, geralmente é utilizada uma bateria de íon-lítio.
Comparadas a uma bateria de níquel tradicional, as baterias de lítio são mais caras, mas ao mesmo tempo são dispositivos mais eficientes e capazes de fornecer maior potência para o mesmo tamanho e peso.
Pelo contrário, faltam os componentes clássicos de uma scooter a gasolina, na verdade não há líquidos para reabastecer e peças mecânicas sujeitas a desgaste e falhas.
Por outro lado, o funcionamento é semelhante ao de um motor a gasolina, basta dar partida com o botão e frear com as duas alavancas, a da esquerda que gerencia o freio da roda traseira e a da direita a dianteira freio da roda.
A manutenção desses veículos é mínima e pouco frequente, de fato, em comparação com scooters com motores de combustão interna, há menos elementos que precisam ser verificados, incluindo os pneus, o sistema de freios e o sistema de iluminação.
Como recarregar a scooter elétrica
Ao contrário dos ciclomotores tradicionais que exigem reabastecimento, as scooters elétricas precisam recarregar a bateria quando o nível de carga atinge 20% .
O carregamento pode ser feito de várias maneiras, por exemplo, conectando o veículo a uma tomada elétrica doméstica, como uma tomada de garagem ou jardim.
No entanto, esta opção não é muito eficiente, na verdade requer um longo tempo de recarga e é necessário esperar várias horas para uma recarga completa (6 a 8 horas).

Em qualquer caso, é fundamental utilizar sempre sistemas compatíveis com o seu veículo verde de duas rodas, para evitar curtos-circuitos e outros problemas elétricos.
É possível dirigir uma scooter elétrica sem habilitação?
Todos os veículos exigem a posse de carta de condução, no entanto o tipo de documento exigido depende da potência do veículo.
Ou seja, para pilotar esse tipo de veículo, mesmo os com velocidade máxima de 50 km/h é preciso ter habilitação na categoria A.
Quais as vantagens da scooter elétrica?
Uma scooter elétrica oferece vantagens importantes sobre um veículo de duas rodas com motor a gasolina.
Em primeiro lugar, não polui na estrada, evitando a emissão de gases de efeito estufa que contribuem para o aquecimento global e as mudanças climáticas.
Além disso, um motor elétrico é muito silencioso, pois a ausência do motor de combustão interna garante um alto nível de silêncio, aumentando o bem-estar acústico do motorista e reduzindo a poluição sonora devido ao tráfego da cidade.
Outro benefício das scooters elétricas é a redução da manutenção, de fato a ausência do motor de combustão e de muitas peças mecânicas simplifica e diminui as verificações necessárias para a manutenção de rotina, com menores custos a serem incorridos e menos inconvenientes para parar o veículo.
